Q: If I bought my domain through another hosting company or registrar, can I switch it to you?
A: Yes. As per ICANN policies, registered domain name holders must be able to transfer their domains between registrars, however you must wait 60 days after the initial registration or any previous transfers to start another transfer.
Q: How do I transfer my domain to Magic Hosting?

Q: My registrar is asking for a code, where do I get this?
A: You can obtain the EPP code or sometimes called AUTH code from your current hosting company or registrar. If you have any issues getting the code, please let us know and we can certainly help.

Q: I don't know who my registrar or hosting company is, can you help?
A: Yes, of course. Please contact us and we can do some digging to determine who is hosting your account, but who also registered the domain on your behalf.
Q: Is there an additional fee for transferring a domain?
A: You can transfer .uk domain names (e.g. .co.uk, .uk, .ltd.uk, .me.uk, .org.uk) to Magic Hosting for free. However, there is an additional fee for non-UK domain transfer, depanding upon your domain type(TLD).

Q: My transfer request was denied; how do I find out why?
A: The email our automated system sends will let you know why the transfer failed. If you have any questions about the reasoning just let us know and we’ll help.
Q: My domain just expired, can I still transfer it over to Magic Hosting?
A: Yes, assuming the current registrar hasn't started the deletion process. If so, you'll need to restore the domain with your current registrar before transferring it over to Magic Hosting.
