How to Log in to your Client Area with Facebook, Google or Twitter account

Single Sign-On (SSO) is the common name for the process of signing in to the Client Area using a different software service provider (e.g. Facebook, Google, Twitter, etc.). Although our software systems are independent from an SSO service provider, a single successful log in/sign-on will provide access to both.

As a user of SSO you would simply enter your username and password of one of our trusted external service providers and your authentication is then accepted to sign in at Magic Hosting.

This article explains how to set up the Single Sign-On feature and use it to authenticate and get access to your Magic Hosting account.

How to Set up SSO

Setting up SSO first involves linking of one of our trusted external provider logins to your Magic Hosting account (Client Area).

1. Log in to the Client Area at https://www.magichosting.co.uk/client/clientarea.php

2. Click on the "My Account" tab located on the right-hand side of the top navigation. Then, select "Security Settings" from drop-down list.

3. On the Security Settings page, connect your account with any of sign-in providers and follow the onscreen steps to link your Facebook, Google or Twitter account.

4. Once your account is connected, you will be able to log out of the Client Area and log in with your Facebook, Google or Twitter credentials.

Note: Please make sure that pop-ups are enabled in your browser.

A: No. You can log into the Client Area with your username and password as well as with your Facebook, Google or Twitter account if you have one, as long as they're both using the same email address.
