If you are our existing customer, please first log into Client Area then follow the steps below. By doing that, your domain will automatically be added to your account.
Please choose one of the following methods (.uk or non-Uk domain names) to transfer your domain name to Magic Hosting:
1. Transferring .uk domain names (e.g. .co.uk, .uk, .ltd.uk, .me.uk, .org.uk):
1.1. Please click on the following link > https://www.magichosting.co.uk/client/cart.php?a=add&domain=transfer
1.2. Enter your domain name (e.g. mydomain.co.uk), and leave the Authorization Code blank
1.3. Then, click on the "Add to Card" button.
1.4. Proceed to Checkout.
For .uk domain names these rely on an IPS tag.
The IPS tag is managed by the existing domain name provider.
Once the transfer request is processed and the order completed on our website, please contact the current domain name provider and ask them to update the domain's tag to use ours, which is: CLOUDHOSTING
.UK domain names take typically 24 hours to transfer to us.
2. Transferring non-UK domain names (e.g. .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .name, .tv, .me, and etc):
Before initiating the transfer of a non-UK domain, you will need to ensure that it has been unlocked by your current provider. Please check with them if you are unsure.
You also need to ask your current domain provider to provide you with an Authorisation Code (also called an Auth Code or EPP Key). This is a random string of characters which, once received, please keep safe.
2.1. Please click on the following link > https://www.magichosting.co.uk/client/cart.php?a=add&domain=transfer
2.2. Enter your domain name (e.g. mydomain.com) and your EPP code / Auth Code.
2.3. Then, click on the "Add to Card" button.
2.4. Proceed to Checkout.
2.5. Check your email for the verification request:
The email will be sent to the Administrative contact on your domain's WHOIS. It is sent from support@magichosting.co.uk email address. This may take a few hours to arrive (and please be sure check your spam folders just in case). If you have not received this within a few hours of your initial request, please contact support for assistance.
You can locate the domains that you're transferring to us in your account. Go to Domains, then click on the "Pending Transfer" from left sidebar.
After transfer is approved via email from us, losing Registrars have 5 days to automatically release your domain(s).
All non-UK domains might take up to a week to transfer to us , depending on how fast your old provider is to process the request.
